In her recent show titled Mary & George, Julianne stars in an audacious historical psychodrama, portraying the intricate tale of a deceitful mother and son. Together, they embark on a journey of scheming, seduction, and even murder, aiming to conquer both the Court of England and the heart of King James I.
Moore specifically was asked about her 'perfect' British accent in the drama by The Associated Press in an interview, to which she said: "Thank you. I just had one wonderful coach named Majella Hurley, who was there with me every day. I got very, very attached to her. We’d see each other in the weekends, go through the week’s work, and then she was there and would listen to me. And I listen to people on the street, and I listen to my coworkers and I, you know, and I lived in a state of abject terror, thinking that I would get it wrong and hoping that someone would tell me if it was wrong."
The series premiered on Sky Atlantic in the UK on March 5, and is set to be released on Starz in the US on April 5.
