Julianne Moore usually looks stunning no matter what she’s wearing, but this years Critics Choice Awards really wasn’t her best red carpet look. Fans are saying the dress looks like a “paper bag,” and wish the May December star had picked a different dress. The dress in question is a purple Chanel sheath dress and unfortunately, it did nothing for the star’s figure. Keep reading for more information.

Julianne Moore's Disappointing Red Carpet Look

The Chanel sheath dress that Moore arrived in is a plum color that didn't do much for the star's fair coloring. The strapless number also featured a jeweled brooch made of a stone in green resin with beads and pearls as embellishments. The dress also had pockets, which Moore happily stuck her hands in, but according to fans, "it doesn't look very flattering are in her pockets."

The fabric of the dress was rather stiff, and the dress fell to the floor with a small slit up the middle that allowed for her black pumps to show. Her signature ginger locks laid simply over her shoulders and her subtle glam featured a pink lip and matching blushed cheeks.
