Is there any better color on redheads than green? Olive green, kelly green, and emerald jeweled tones—you name it they all compliment red hair. Julianne Moore proved just that when she attended the premiere of May December at the Cannes Film Festival on Saturday, May 20th. For the event, alongside Natalie Portman, the acclaimed actress wore a custom-made emerald green Louis Vuitton gown. We can’t believe how good she looked!

Julianne Moore Is Radiant In An Emerald Green Louis Vuitton Dress
The Still Alice star stunned in a custom emerald green gown from Louis Vuitton. The dress featured a high-neck bodice (not like the plunging dress she wore to the Gotham Awards), statement shoulders, and billowy sleeves. It was pleated along the sleeves and skirt and had a skirt that draped the floor. Julianne’s premiere dress was futuristic and almost resembled something from Star Wars. She was styled by Kate Young.

Julianne is accessorized with sparkling, diamond-encrusted hoop earrings. Hairdresser Halley Brisker styled Moore’s auburn locks in smooth, loose waves. The ageless beauty‘s makeup consisted of a coral lip, light pink rosy blush, full lashes, and mauve sparkly eye shadow.
She posed with costars Natalie Portman and Charles Melton, as well as the film’s director, Todd Haynes, on the red carpet. The film follows a famous actress, played by Natalie, who, in preparation for her latest role, travels to Maine to study a real-life couple, played by Julianne and Charles. Haynes is known for directing the acclaimed dramas Dark Waters and Carol. May December is Julianne’s fourth collaboration with Haynes. She previously starred in his films Safe, Wonderstruck, and Far From Heaven—which earned Moore an Oscar nomination for Best Actress.
