Justin Bieber and Hailey Bieber (age 28 and 25, respectively) are one of Hollywood’s favorite and most stylish young couples, and have seemed to settle into married life well since their 2018 wedding. However, an “insider” reportedly revealed to Ok! Magazine that the pop superstar is becoming “impatient” regarding starting a family with his model wife and this discussion is trending and spreading across social media.

“Justin wants an army of kids, but Hailey is set on focusing on her career and will not be rushed, period,” the source reportedly said, noting that Justin was apparently “devastated” when the model said she didn’t feel ready to have children. “He’d love to be expecting before he goes on tour in February,” Ok! Magazine wrote, quoting another source. “But he doesn’t want to pressure Hailey too much because it could backfire. Though he does want to know when she thinks she’ll be ready because his patience is wearing thin.”
As fans remember, in his documentary Our World released last year, one scene depicted the Biebers together in which Justin tells Hailey (neé Baldwin) and viewers that he ideally would have liked to “squish out a nugget” last year. Hailey then asked him “In 2021?” to which he clarified he wanted to “start trying” at the end of 2021. She then said, “We shall see.”

In her February 2022 Wall Street Journal Magazine cover story, Hailey discussed the pressure she (and many women) feel to have children shortly after marrying, and how this was amplified for her with fame. “There’s this thing that happens for women when you get married,” she said.
“Everybody always assumes it’s: First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes the baby. Well, what about all the things I want to accomplish in my business? I think I had it ingrained in my head that I was going to want to have kids right away and I was going to want to have kids super, super young. Then I turned 25 and I’m like, I’m still super, super young.”

In the past, her husband has indicated that he definitely does “want to start a family in due time” (as told toApple Music’s Zane Lowe in February 2020) but that he wanted to “enjoy being married for a little bit, go on tour, be married, enjoy traveling with just us, build more of our relationship.”
One month later, The “Yummy” hitmaker also told Ellen DeGeneres (and repeated in another December 2020 appearance) that he is letting his wife decide when they have children.”I think it’s up to Hailey because it’s her body,” Bieber said on The Ellen Show. In that same episode, he also joked that as for a number of children in his ideal family, “I am going to have as many [kids] as Hailey is wishing to push out […] I’d love to have myself a little tribe. But, yeah, it’s her body and whatever she wants to do. … I think she wants to have a few.”

Since then, Hailey has opened up to various outlets about how she doesn’t feel ready “yet,” but wants to have children in the future. As fans continue to discuss the Biebers on social media, many Twitter users have expressed hope that Hailey doesn’t feel “too pressured” as she is “only 25” and is “already aware that pregnancy and parenting is a step that requires you to be ready,” and that they wish nothing but the best for the young couple and whatever decisions they make.
