Justin Bieber just told his fans that life has been “scary” ever since wife Hailey Bieber’s shock hospitalization on Thursday, March 10th, which came after she experienced stroke-like symptoms caused by a small blood clot on her brain.

The 28-year-old “Peaches” singer opened up about the 25-year-old Victoria’s Secret model’s health scare when talking to the audience at his “Justice World Tour” show at the Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado on March 16th, following a big technical fault that resulted in a power cut and the show coming to an unexpected halt. According to TMZ, many things such as monitors, lasers, and stage lights weren’t working properly even after the power had resumed, resulting in a more stripped back performance from the Canadian musician.

“Life randomly throws you curve balls. You know, we can’t really control much. You know, tonight the power cutting out,” the “Yummy” singer told his fans when he returned to the stage following the power cut, which then led to him updating the audience about Hailey’s health. “Obviously you guys know, most of you probably know or seen the news about my wife, not sure if you guys seen. She’s OK, she’s good,” he continued. “It’s been scary, you know, it’s been really scary but I know for a fact that God has her in the palm of his hands.”

The last health update fans received came from Hailey herself, after she came home from hospital. She told her 41.8 million Instagram followers at the time: “On Thursday morning, I was sitting at breakfast with my husband when I started having stroke-like symptoms and was taken to the hospital. They found I had suffered a very small blood clot to my brain, which caused a small lack of oxygen, but my body had passed it on its own and I recovered completely within a few hours. Although this was definitely one of the scariest moments I’ve ever been through, I’m home now and doing well, and I’m so grateful and thankful to all the amazing doctors and nurses who took care of me!”
