Justin Bieber‘s style is often praised by fans, as well as his ability to pull off a variety of bold and flattering hairstyles. According to cosmetic surgeons, the Grammy winner, 30, may have recently sought out a little assistance to maintain his luscious locks.
In a viral new TikTok video, New York City-based plastic surgeon Dr. Gary Linkov presented compelling evidence that the “Ghost” singer has had a hair transplant to enhance the fullness of his tresses.

Linkov's recent video has captured attention from fans with two striking images, hinting at a potential transformation in Bieber's hairline over the last couple of years.
Linkov speculated that the pop star may have undergone a hair transplant procedure, as he has been rarely spotted without a hat or hoodie to conceal his head in recent years. One image Linkov analyzed, taken during the 2022 Super Bowl in Inglewood, California, showed the "Peaches" crooner with a shaved head, exhibiting a receding hairline and thinning hair.
However, another image posted by the artist himself on Instagram last week depicts a surprisingly full head of hair, with a straight and even hairline.
Linkov remarked: "When I look at his forehead, [the hairline is now] much flatter, it doesn't have that recession, and when the hair is wet, you can tell the regularity of the [hairline], so it looks like maybe he did have a transplant."
As reported by The Daily Mail, another expert gave his two cents regarding Bieber's seemingly fuller new look.
Dr. Jim Harris, another NYC-based plastic surgeon recently dished: "There's no medication that's going to turn a receding hairline around. I think, based on [photos], I would say, he has likely had a hair restoration surgery."
In his aforementioned new post, Linkov added: "[Bieber] started to wear all these hats [in 2022] and he's covering up his hair so that it's hard to tell what was going on. Remember, hair transplants can take up to a year, maybe a year and a half, to see final results."
Both Linkov and Harris have pointed out that Bieber often wears head coverings such as hats or hoods while appearing in public. This practice, according to the doctors, may have concealed any obvious signs of hair growth resulting from a hair transplant procedure.
"In a photo from 2023 I notice that Justin's hairline looks flatter," Harris said. He went on: "A few years prior to that in 2018, he had a definite recession, very scalloped frontal hairline. [But] now it's flatter onto his forehead — much more linear."
According to the surgeons, the "Yummy" artist likely underwent a Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) procedure to restore his lost hair, especially around the top corners of his face. This technique involves extracting hair follicles from the back of the head and transplanting them to the front to replace lost hair.
The procedure can also conceal any scarring on the back of the head, rendering it difficult to detect if someone has undergone the process.
According to Linkov, it is estimated that Bieber might have underwent a transplant involving as many as 1,800 follicles, which falls within the upper range of the typical number of 500 to 1,500.
