In the first lawsuit, a woman named Jane Doe (who is known as Danielle, to make the case more confusing!) claimed that the singer sexually assaulted her at a Four Seasons hotel on March 9th in Austin, Texas, following an event that was part of the SXSW festival. However, Justin and his team were able to prove that he wasn’t at the hotel that night, as he and Sel actually stayed at an Airbnb! After a status hearing on November 3rd, judge Terry Green ruled that the case could be settled in private due to Selena's name being dragged into it.

In a separate lawsuit, another woman named Khadidja, who goes by the name of Kadi, alleged that the "Yummy" singer assaulted her at the Langham Hotel at 2am on May 5th back in 2015. And although Bieber was indeed staying at the hotel that night, he was proven to be at a Met Gala after-party until 4am, making her allegation impossible. According to Radar, Khadidja's attorney has alleged that his client's accusations are protected by the first and fourteenth amendments, so we'll have to wait and see how that case unfolds.
