Keeping up with Justin Theroux’s dating life is almost as hard as keeping up with the Kardashians. The newly-single actor has been romantically linked to plenty of A-listers lately including Emma Stone, Petra Collins, Alexa Chung, and Selena Gomez. Now, it looks like Theroux has his eyes on a new leading lady: Laura Harrier.
Cameras caught the two strolling through the streets of Paris in between their hectic Paris Fashion Week schedules. It looks like Theroux tried to do the classic “walk 5 paces ahead” move to trick the paparazzi, but it’s clear these two are hanging out. They’ve been friends for a long time, so maybe there could be something there…
But, it does look like Theroux is having fun playing the field. A source close to the actor says that he’s casually dating and enjoying meeting new people.
“Justin is hanging out and having the time of his life. He's casually dating, but it's nothing more," the insider told E! News. “He is letting loose for the first time in several years. He doesn't have anyone else to be responsible for or to report back to and he's taking advantage of that and having fun.”
Theroux and Harrier’s Paris rendezvous comes weeks after the actor broke his silence on his divorce from Jennifer Aniston. He spoke candidly about their separation and revealed that the former couple has been working hard to remain friends following the unexpected split.
“[It’s heartbreaking] only in the sense that the friendship would not be the same, as far as just the day to day,” he told the New York Times when asked about the challenging parts of the split.
Thankfully, the divorce process has been very amicable so far for Theroux and Aniston, so we’re confident they’ll be able to work through this.
"The good news is that was probably the most—I'm choosing my words really carefully—it was kind of the most gentle separation, in that there was no animosity,” he continued. “Neither one of us is dead, neither one of us is looking to throw hatchets at each other. It's more like, it's amicable. It's boring, but, you know, we respected each other enough that it was as painless as it could be."
