The secret is out! Power couple Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel have quietly welcomed their second child.
The 39-year-old dad and 38-year old actress are quickly adjusting to their new life of being parents-of-two this summer. The news comes in after weeks of speculation that Justin, his wife of eight years Jessica, and son Silas recently became a party of four, and now it’s finally confirmed.
Justin’s friend and R&B collaborator Brian McKnight shared the baby news in an exclusive interview with Hollywood Life. Brian gushed over Justin and Jessica’s new bundle of joy.
“Having kids and having his family, I think [Justin] took some time to focus on those things because those things are very important,” McKnight said. “I think if he’s going to do music, he’s going to make sure that it’s secure, and then he’ll bring us into his music,” McKnight revealed. “And being inspired! He just had a new baby. I think that’s going to be really inspiring for him and he’ll have some new music based on that, I’m sure.”
The Daily Mail has since reported that Justin and Jessica’s new baby is a boy-- the perfect best friend for five-year-old Silas. It’s no secret that the “Can’t Stop The Feeling!” singer loves every second of being a dad and took to Instagram just this past Father’s Day to share his view on the importance of fatherhood.
Alongside a series of photos of him and Silas, Justin penned a touching caption. “Boys grow up to be fathers. I think about that a lot these days. We try to teach our son to love and to respect everyone -- we teach him that all people are created equal, and that no one should be treated differently because of the color of their skin,” he wrote. “We teach him this because one day, he will go on to teach his kids the same. It’s a cycle. And right now, as we all work to undo generations of discriminaton that have plagued our system and our communities across this country… I’m reminded today that the first lessons start at home.” Sounds like one amazing dad to us!
