Kacey Musgraves just rang in her 34th birthday in style! The “breadwinner” singer shared a series of stunning snaps on Instagram taken from her recent trip to Japan, and rocked a corseted butterfly-print dress that her 2.4 million followers (and we) are obsessed with. The Grammy winner uploaded 2 photo collection posts of her killer Osaka show look— complete with a fitted, curve-hugging blue-and-black gown, string lights adorning her long black tresses, and illuminating eyeshadow.

In her first post, the ever-so-stylish “Space Cowboy” hitmaker shared gorgeous shots of her posing under rich blue lighting, emphasizing the vibrant colors of her skintight dress and its neon butterfly print. She also included pics of herself onstage in the waist-cinching garment, and later hitting a Japanese convenience store in full glam. In her caption, the “Golden Hour” crooner thanked her beauty team, and explained on her IG story that her hairstylist put actual radiant string lights in her hair as her outfit’s stellar accessory.

Musgraves later shared several blurry (and effortlessly cool) photos of herself donning the lights in her locks, and gave fans a closer look at her makeup for the evening. To dazzle her concert get-up even more, Musgraves added multicolored, shimmering eyeshadow, voluminous, sky-high lashes, rosy blush along her cheekbones, and a full light pink lipstick. To caption the photos, she wrote, “there is a light,” cleverly referencing her 2021 song of the same name.

Naturally, fans couldn’t get enough of Musgraves’ concert look for her Asian tour, and left comments of approval regarding their favorite aspects of her outfit. “My style icon, honestly,” one fan wrote as another sweetly added, “Tokyo looks good on you.” Others who attended her show described it as “killer” and “so fun” while another user dubbed her outfit to be “incredibly stunning” as her looks “always are.” We have to agree!
