For anyone who wanted to know how President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris really feel about former president Donald Trump’s bid for a second term in the White House, we think Kamala Harris’ recent reaction says it all.
When CBS host Margaret Brennan asked Kamala Harris if she was taking the “threat” of another Donald Trump presidency “seriously enough,” her facial expressions proved that she was a little stunned and taken aback, and responded by saying: “I don’t understand the question.” Zing!
Kamala Harris Seems Confident That Joe Biden Will Win Re-Election
Speaking on Face The Nation, Brennan said, “You were dismissive of some of the Republican criticism of you and the president,” and added, “When you look at current polling, the frontrunner for the Republican nomination is the former president, the 45th president.”
However, Harris made it clear that she was confident that she and President Joe Biden would win re-election. “We will win, we will win re-election,” Harris confidently said, adding, “There is too much at stake and the American people know it.”
Also in the interview, Harris addressed whether she was prepared to become president – which is something that recent polls have shown that many voters are concerned about due to President Biden's age. If he wins, Biden would be 82 when he takes office and therefore be 86 at the end of his term; and voters are reportedly concerned that he wouldn’t be able to finish his second term!
"Yes, I am. If necessary," Harris said, before reassuring voters that she doesn’t think it would get to that stage. "But Joe Biden is going to be fine," she said, adding, "Let me tell you something. I work with Joe Biden every day. Under Joe Biden’s leadership, we have transformed and are in the process of transforming America’s infrastructure… I could go on and on." Well, there we have it!
