Kanye West just lost his fourth divorce lawyer amid ongoing case with ex-wife Kim Kardashian.
In a recent article published by The Blast, the 44-year-old rapper’s divorce attorney Samantha Spector “has filed to withdraw from the high-profile family law case.” Based on legal documents obtained by the site, Spector said, “There has been an irreconcilable breakdown in the attorney-client relationship.”
According to the Los Angeles based corporation Spector Law Firm, “Samantha is a high-profile and celebrity family law attorney who has represented some of the biggest noteworthy clients in divorce and paternity cases in California. She is the founder of Spector Law, A Professional Law Corporation, a law firm established in early 2012 which exclusively focuses on family law matters.” Spector is a well-known attorney who also took on the divorce case of celebrity couple Dr. Dre and Nicole Young.
Reports claim that Kanye’s other lawyer, Deborah Hong, will now take over. ET Online mentioned that in the motion, Spector stated, “Attorney has communicated with Ms. Hong, an attorney-at-law, who has confirmed she is acting on behalf of Ye and should receive all communications directed to him.”
Right now, Kanye and Kim are still in a custody battle. The Yeezy mogul and reality star have four children: North (8), Saint (6), Chicago (4), and Psalm (3). In Kanye’s latest song True Love, you’ll notice in the lyrics that he got real about his feelings towards seeing his kids.

As of this writing, Samantha Spector has not publicly released additional statements regarding her decision to formally step down and not represent Kanye in his ongoing divorce proceedings.
