Kanye West seemingly just confessed to cheating on Kim Kardashian during their marriage! The internet is ablaze after lyrics for the rapper’s song Hurricane from his much-anticipated Donda record were released, and seemingly allude to periods of infidelity by the star, specifically after the birth of their first two children. Oh no–we’re devastated for Kim!
On the track, the 44-year-old rapper appears to reference “a new chick” and “still playin’ after two kids.” Here are the exact lyrics that many are taking as an admission of guilt:
“Here I go actin’ too rich / Here I go with a new chick /
And I know what the truth is / Still playin’ after two kids /
It’s a lot to digest when your life always movin’.”
While some fans have questioned whether the “new chick” is Irina Shayk, who Ye briefly dated earlier this year after Kim filed for divorce, sources close to West are insisting that the infidelities happened while he was still married to the 40-year-old Keeping Up with the Kardashians star.
The “after two kids,” lyric seems to reference the birth of the famous couple’s first two kids daughter North, 8, and son Saint, 5.
“The song is in a way his testimony of everything he did wrong and taking accountability for their marriage breakdown,” an insider told Page Six. “If you look closer to the lyrics, he is referring to his infidelity during his marriage with Kim, even after two kids.” Say it ain’t so!

And that’s not the only secret the fashion mogul spilled on the song; he also opened up about his marriage struggles, and seemingly confessed to never wanting to go home to the multimillion-dollar mansion he shared with his wife and four children.
“Architectural Digest, but I needed home improvement / Sixty-million-dollar home, never went home to it,” he raps, in reference to their home which was featured in the publication back in February 2020.
He also touches on his struggles with alcohol and substance abuse in the same song.
“Genius gone clueless, it’s a whole lot to risk / Alcohol anonymous, who’s the busiest loser?”
West finishes the song by suggesting that he is “free,” which could mean that he is free from his marriage, or free because his infidelities are now out in the open.
“Finally, I’m free, finally, I’m free / As I go out to sea, I can walk on water.”
“Won’t you shine Your light? /Demons stuck on my shoulder / Father, hold me close, don’t let me drown / I know You won’t.”

Kim and West were married for seven years before she officially filed for divorce in January this year. They share four children together, in addition to North and Saint, they are also parents to 3-year-old daughter Chicago, and 2-year-old son, Psalm, whom they welcomed via surrogate.
We are truly devastated for Kim Kardashian, as she has appeared to stand by her husband’s side not only during their entire marriage, but also after filing for divorce. If turning up to Kanye West’s listening party in a Balenciaga Haute Couture wedding dress isn’t supportive, we don’t know what is!
Do you think she knew about his infidelities all along but decided to stick by him? We have a feeling that more secrets will be revealed very soon, so watch this space!
