Kate Hudson Shares Her Weight Loss Tips
In an interview with Women's Health, Kate shared that WW has really helped to transform her body. "I make beautiful meals that have no points, then I can indulge," she explains. Foods that have "no points" according to WW include chicken, leafy greens, eggs, non-starchy veggies, and fresh fruit. "I'll do a whole day eating amazing Zero Point foods, then I have wine and ice cream," she continued.
Kate Hudson is now an ambassador for the program, alongside other celebs like Oprah Winfrey, though Oprah has admitted that her tremendous weight loss was actually due to weight loss drugs.
In addition to what she eats, Kate has been managing when she eats as a way to lose weight as well, with intermittent fasting. With this trick, the Glass Onion actress usually waits until 11 or 11:30 in the morning to eat, sipping only on celery juice, coffee, or tea in the morning.
Kate Hudson's Workout Routine
In addition to making better food-related choices, the How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days actress also makes sure to incorporate exercise into her daily routine. Though she says she's not a "crazy workout person," she does try to find time during the day to move her body with pilates and Tracy Anderson Method routines.
And she doesn't do it alone. Hudson explains that she's made exercise into a bonding activity, and enjoys going on long walks or bike rides with her mother, Goldie Hawn. "It's about doing the things you love, eating the things you want to, exercising and not feeling like you need to [push yourself] for two hours in a hot room," she explained to Women's Health. "You can just take a nice walk and still be healthy."
Kate Hudson... Meditates?
The final thing that Kate has cited as a helpful tool for weight loss and general health is meditation. In 2017, she revealed in an essay for Fabletics that she tries to do it every day, because it's completely changed her outlook on life. "When I [meditate], I can feel the difference right away. I feel myself becoming calmer, more centered and clearer-headed," she explained.
"Meditation also made me realize that there are times when I thought I had a grasp on what was going on with myself internally," she continued, "then I meditated and found that my body was telling me something different."
