If watching Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery or seeing Kate Hudson in her Elie Saab gown for the Los Angeles premiere wasn’t enough proof that she is aging in reverse, then we think her very latest look will do it as we – and the rest of her 16.3M Instagram followers – are in awe!
The 43-year-old actress stole the show when she attended Netflix’s Golden Globe and Critics Choice Nominee Toast in Los Angeles on Sunday, January 8th, wearing a jaw-dropping red hot Michael Kors Collection Spring 2023 dress for the occasion. Kate’s dress – which was actually blue on the Spring 2023 runway – featured a one-shoulder strap and two racy cutouts on either side to reveal the actress’s taught and toned body and a racy thigh-high slit to show off her long, enviable pins.
The How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days actress accessorized her head-turning dress with some bold red pointed toe heels, a gold clutch, a chain necklace and chain bracelet. She wore her hair, which was styled by Marcus Francis, in a loose low pony with some soft tendrils at the front framing her face, while her glowing makeup which featured a soft smoky eye and matching red lipstick was expertly applied by makeup artist Debra Ferullo.
Kate’s Glass Onion co-star Janelle Monáe said Kate was “Smoking,” followed by the fire emoji, while Tracee Ellis Ross also dropped three fire emojis in the comments section. “I’m obsessed with the dress,” one of her fans wrote, while another said that she was “absolutely stunning.” No arguments there! “What a beautiful dress. The color is stunning,” complimented another fashion-conscious fan. “What a beautiful dress!” remarked another, adding that Michael Kors “never disappoints,” followed by five hand clapping emojis.
“Wow! Iconic,” another fan raved, and another said, “Goddess of all ageless Queens.” “Perfection at its finest,” gushed another fan, while many others couldn’t help but notice the resemblance between Kate and her mother, Goldie Hawn. “You look stunning in everything and I see so much of your mother in you,” commented one fan followed by a smiling emoji.
The Netflix event the Almost Famous star attended was in celebration of those who have been recently nominated for a Golden Globe or a Critics Choice Award, with Glass Onion receiving a nod for ‘Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy’ and a ‘Best Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy’ nod for Daniel Craig. They sadly didn’t win either of the two awards, with the first one going to The Banshees of Inisherin and Colin Farrell winning the ‘Best Actor’ award for the same movie.
For the Critics’ Choice Awards, which air on Sunday, January 15th at 7/6c on The CW, Glass Onion is nominated for a super-impressive six awards, which are, ‘Best Picture,’ ‘Best Acting Ensemble,’ ‘Best Adapted Screenplay,’ ‘Best Costume Design,’ and ‘Best Comedy,’ with Janelle Monáe also getting a nomination for ‘Best Supporting Actress.’
