Kate Hudson Wows Viewers Of 'The Voice' With A Riveting Live Performance Of Her New Single 'Glorious'
The white minidress Hudson donned, complete with a flowing cape piece, gave the Almost Famous icon an ethereal appearance. Social media was soon buzzing with comments from fans who were thoroughly impressed by the mom of three's musical abilities.
On X (formerly Twitter), one fan wrote after catching Hudson's performance: "didn't know she could sing" as another deemed her Voice moment to be "phenomenal." Someone else gushed: "who knew what a beautiful voice she has."
The official account for the NBC musical competition series shared a clip of Hudson singing to TikTok, where more fans praised her voice and stage presence. "Wow!! I had no idea she could sing! What a beautiful song," another devotee wrote in the post's comments section as one other added: "beautiful voice and performance."
On May 17, 2024, Hudson dropped her first-ever studio album, Glorious, following the release of its lead single, "Talk About Love," in January 2024. Co-written with her fiancé Danny Fujikawa, the song was also well-received by fans.
The Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery alum previously showcased her vocal abilities during her debut album's unveiling on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon with a captivating performance of "Gonna Find Out," a twangy, country-influenced pop-rock song.
While these two recent performances surprised many of Hudson's fans, they did not serve as the How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days star's first display of musical talent. She appeared as a guest star on Glee from 2012 to 2013, delivering numerous ear-pleasing renditions, and also treated fans to her vocal powers while starring in the 2009 movie musical, Nine.
In addition, during an episode of the "That's My Jam" segment in 2022, Hudson wowed host Jimmy Fallon and viewers with her remarkable cover of Ariana Grande's hit, "7 Rings."
Back in April, Hudson expressed in a statement that accompanied the announcement of her first album: "I'd say it doesn’t seem real."
She added: "But the truth is: this is realer to me than anything I’ve done in my entire life. It was always this, I just needed to get to a place where I was ready... and the songs got to the core of who I am."
