Last week, Kate Middleton made an unexpected appearance at the Chelsea Flower Show and delighted the crowd with her presence in gorgeous pink dress. Crafted from 100% silk, Middleton’s ME+EM pink shirt dress features long sleeves, a midi-length dipped hem, button front and adjustable belt.

Never one to overdo a look, Kate kept the rest of her ensemble low key and spring-ready Castañer Carina wedges for a dressed-down vibe. She styled her long brown locks in her signature princess-like soft waves, and kept her makeup simple and effortless. The Barbiecore trend has been going full force for the past year, and we have to say that we’re still here for it. We also love that Kate enjoyed a picnic with a group of school children at the Chelsea Flower Show as part of the RHS Campaign for School Gardening. The campaign promotes the importance of gardening among young students.

There is never a lack of tension when it comes to the royals. And King Charles’ recent coronation proved to be a contentious event. The Princess of Wales was already rumored to have been upset that her former friend, Rose Hanbury, who Prince William was rumored to have had an affair with, was not only invited to the coronation but actually attended it. But according to reports, Kate actually refused to curtsy to Queen Camilla as she left Westminster Abbey because she was “angry” with her. According to royal reporter Tom Bower, who appeared on Dan Wootton Tonight on May 16th, Camilla had 20 of her own family members on the guest list, yet the Duchess of Cambridge wasn’t even allowed to have her sister Pippa Middleton or brother James Middleton’s partners at the historic coronation.

While Kate usually hides her emotions well during public appearances, apparently she couldn’t conceal her disappointment with Camila. “If you look at the coronation footage, as the King and Queen leave the thrones and head for the exit of Westminster Abbey, you’ll see that everyone bows and curtsies to the King and no one moves a limb, a muscle, when Camilla passes. And that’s because they were angry with Camilla.”
