Kate Middleton just visited Northern Ireland for the first time as the Princess of Wales last week, and donned a chic periwinkle jacket (and overall elegant ensemble) that fans can’t get enough of. The royal family member and style icon, 40, added a periwinkle blouse under her standout outerwear piece, featuring a bow at the neckline. To complete her look, the mom of three went for classic navy blue trousers and matching pumps.

Middleton even color-coordinated with her husband Prince William, 40, during her visit, as he wore a darker blue jacket and suit. The couple arrived in the country to surprise residents and began their day by meeting with cross-community organizations, starting with the PIPS Suicide Prevention Ireland (PIPS Charity) in Belfast, which provides crisis support and mental health resources for anyone at risk of suicide and self-harm.

To complete her outfit for the day, Middleton added dangly earrings, and was seen carrying a black purse. She wore her long, brunette tresses down, parted to the side, and styled into loose waves. As for makeup, she highlighted her natural beauty with a touch of black eyeliner, mascara, rosy blush along her cheekbones and a light pink lipstick hue.

The Prince and Princess of Wales later headed to Carrickfergus, a town that is approximately 12 miles from Belfast, and spoke with mentors who work at the Carrick Connect charity, which aids teens who suffer from emotional and/or social difficulties. They were also photographed meeting and shaking hands with locals, with Middleton looking radiant in the azure pieces.
