Kate Middleton is known for always looking polished, elegant, and absolutely regal. The 40-year-old royal is also known for wearing both luxury designers like Alexander McQueen and more affordable options from Zara (like that ultra-chic red blazer she wore last month)—and often re-wearing her wardrobe favorites. While the Duchess is always the epitome of class, she isn’t always one to shock us with her style choices. But she definitely wowed us when we saw the jaw-dropping metallic pink dress she wore on her latest royal tour!
Kate Middleton pulled out all the stops with the evening look she wore for the Cambridges’ Caribbean tour on March 21st. Kate and Prince William started their tour in Belize, where Kate stepped out looking like a vision for a reception that evening. She truly stunned us in this uncharacteristically bright and not-so-subtle The Vampire’s Wife metallic pink gown. The event was in honor of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, but the attention was definitely all on Kate and her incredible look.
We think Kate looks Oscar-worthy—and definitely dressed for the red carpet even if there wasn’t one at the event. We love to see her taking more risks with her fashion choices. And, of course, she even makes a plain white tee look amazing when she's dressed down.
Earlier that day, the Duchess kept things simple while exploring Caracol, a large ancient Maya archaeological site located in the Cayo District of Belize. She wore a classic white T-shirt with fitted cargo-style green trousers that complemented the Duke of Cambridge’s similar cargo pants. And as much as we love seeing the royal pair glammed up, we love that they’re in synch even with their more casual looks.
