Kate Middleton, 41, has already proven that she can do dazzling regal glamour – as proven by last month’s jaw-dropping appearance at a Buckingham Palace state banquet – but we know that we can rely on her to deliver high-quality smart/casual looks too. And the chic ensemble she wore while visiting a children’s charity on Black Friday is one of the latest examples!
On Friday, November 24th, when most of us were occupied with Black Friday deals, the Princess of Wales visited the Sebby’s Corner baby bank in Barnet, England to kickstart a new initiative from The Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood. The initiative aims to provide support to families with young children in Barnet, Hertfordshire and London over the holiday season.
Kate Middleton Wraps Up In Stylish Ensemble For Charity Visit
The mom-of-three kept out the London chill in a highly-covetable outfit for her charity visit, which consisted of a chic Gabriela Hearst ribbed turtle-neck slim fit sweater, a Really Wild brown suede midi skirt, and a waist-cinching Polo Ralph Lauren crocodile embossed belt.
The Princess of Wales finished off her winter outfit with a pair of Gianvito Rossi 'Glen' boots, and wrapped up in a stunning Sportmax 'Ezor' camel coat, which she has seemingly never worn before. We already know that camel coats – camel everything! – are having a serious moment right now, so it isn't surprising to see the ever-stylish Duchess of Cambridge adopt this trend too.
She accessorized with some very affordable Rhodochrosite mini pyramid charm hoop earrings from Notting Hill-born brand, Missoma, also loved by the likes of Hailey Bieber and Kendall Jenner among so many others.
Her hair was worn in its signature long, slightly waved down do, while her makeup was minimal and toned down, as it usually is for daytime events. The Princess of Wales' makeup consisted of a subtle lined eye, a soft pink lip, and rosy pink cheeks, not to mention a flawless and glowing base.
According to The Telegraph, the Princess of Wales told members of the newly formed Baby Bank Alliance, which aims to provide a network of support to baby banks: "The work going on here is so essential… you are such a lifeline in so many ways, but you're also hidden. We need to be able to normalize this and make this more visible." Over 5,000 families have reportedly been helped since the alliance was formed in January 2021, with families in need being referred to the bank by professionals such as midwives, health visitors, and teachers, among others.
