King Charles III’s coronation on Saturday, May 6th was only the beginning of the new monarch’s celebrations, as he and Queen Camilla hosted a Coronation Garden Party at Buckingham Palace just a few days later on May 9th. And the weather seemed to be much more pleasant for the garden party, which we bet the attendees were very grateful for; especially Kate Middleton, as her stunning blue outfit was far too chic to be rained on!

Kate Middleton Re-Wears Blue Elie Saab Separates For King Charles’ Coronation Garden Party
The Prince and Princess of Wales actually acted as hosts on behalf of the King; and naturally the Princess, 41, looked flawless, as usual. For her outfit, Kate chose to re-wear an Elie Saab ensemble consisting of a modified version of the powder blue polka dotted macramé pussy bow top and lined embroidered tulle skirt with an A-line silhouette. She previously wore it to Royal Ascot back in June 2019, and we are *so* glad she gave it another outing as it’s too spectacular to only wear once!

The Elie Saab masterpiece featured sheer sleeves, which the designer made just for the Princess the first time she wore it (see below for a picture from her almost-identical Ascot outing… note how the earrings are different!) as the version you can buy has short sleeves. We love the sheer romanticism of the look!
Kate Middleton's Accessories
The Princess accessorized with a Philip Treacy hat with a large flower on one side in the perfect matching shade of blue – the same one she wore back in 2019 – and finished off with some silver Gianvito Rossi heels and a matching silver Elie Saab 'Abat-Jour' metallic and leather clutch bag to add some sparkle to the look.
The mom-of-three wore her shiny brunette locks in a chic low bun, the position of which accommodated and worked with the hat perfectly, and added even more sparkle to her look by way of some Kiki McDonough 'Lola' blue topaz and diamond hoop earrings. Perfection as always!
