Style Throwback: Kate Middleton's 2011 Western-Inspired Look For Calgary Stampede Parade in Canada
While attending the iconic and annual Calgary Stampede Parade in Canada during the summer of 2011, the Duchess of Cambridge donned an unforgettable outfit.
Kate joined her husband, Prince William (the two were newlyweds at the time) and sported a white, sheer button-down top with lace detailing, a white tank underneath, slim-fit jeans and black heeled boots.
For her memorable accessories, Kate went for a white cowboy hat, a silver thin bracelet, dangly charm earrings and a chunky black belt with an intricate cross design on its metal buckle.
She wore her layered, long, brunette tresses down and styled into her signature voluminous blowout (she still goes for this timeless 'do today!)
William matched his wife's country-tinged get-up with a cowboy-esque ensemble of his own. The duke chose a similar white hat, light blue jeans and a green-and-blue plaid shirt.
While it's certainly difficult to pick an all-time favorite look from Princess Kate, this cowgirl outfit is definitely up there for us!
After the Prince and Princess of Wales just celebrated their twelfth wedding anniversary in April 2023, looking back at photos of the couple from the year 2011 is extra special.
