Kate Middleton just debuted a brand new hairstyle – and we are kind of obsessed with it! The Duchess of Cambridge swapped her trademark bouncy blowout for a very modern wavy hairstyle when she and her husband, the Duke of Cambridge, attended the annual Royal Variety Performance at the Royal Albert Hall on Thursday November 18th; and we really hope it wasn’t just a one-off because she looked absolutely phenomenal!
It wasn’t just the Duchess’s wavy hair that made our jaws drop though, as we are completely enamored with her outfit too! Keen to continue doing her bit for the planet, Kate went for another recycled look, this time opting for a stunning long-sleeved sequined green gown by one of her favorite designers, Jenny Packham, which she first wore during a royal tour of Pakistan back in 2019. We were waiting for this divine, regal dress to make another appearance – something *that* show-stopping deserves more than one outing; are we right?!
The Duchess previously accessorized the gown with earrings from O’nitaa which were very visible thanks to her half up and half down hairstyle, and Jimmy Choo Mimi sandals. This time round, she chose gold Missoma Zenyu chandelier hoop earrings and a Jenny Packham clutch in a perfectly matching shade of green, which we thought were excellent choices! And although you can't really see them that well under the dress, if you look really closely, you can see that her pointed heeled pumps came in a complementary gorgeous green hue, too. Don't ask us to choose which look we preferred, because they were both spectacular in their own ways!
Kate finished off her look with smokey eye makeup, a bold red lip, and perfectly-applied bronzer and highlighter that gave her an enviable, glowing complexion, which proved that she wanted to go for all-out glamour for the occasion. We love how the Duchess not only recycles her outfits, but how she can create brand new looks by simply mixing and matching her accessories and even changing up her hair. A-listers should take note for awards season – there are probably lots of recycled outfits that are just waiting to make their red carpet return!
