Kate Middleton is going to be an aunt–again! A source close to the family has revealed that The Duchess’ younger sister Pippa Middleton is expecting her second child with husband James Matthews, just two years after the birth of their son Arthur.
According to Page Six, “Pippa and James are thrilled, it’s fantastic news amid a difficult year. The entire family is delighted.” Middleton was vocal about her first pregnancy with her son Arthur in her fitness column in Waitrose Weekend, and has shared that their, “local baby gym has been a saving grace,” as her son grew more active. She sounds like one busy mama!
Pippa and her husband James got married in 2017, with her niece, Princess Charlotte, and nephew, Prince George acting as her bridal party--so sweet! We’re sure the children are thrilled to have a new cousin to play with on their mom’s side.
Middleton spends her days in a luxurious townhouse with her husband James and son Arthur. Pippa also reportedly has access to a multi-billion-dollar fortune, so she’s likely not too envious about her sister’s charmed life as a duchess. We’re sure the nursery will be stunning!
While Pippa has yet to announce when her second child is due, it’s a spot of bright light for the royal family after the long year this has been. Seeing as she has a knack for writing, we’ll likely be hearing all about her second pregnancy experience in the near future!
