While most of the world was smiling from ear to ear when they saw Kate Middleton looking radiant at the Festival of Remembrance on Saturday, November 9th, and again during Remembrance Sunday at the Cenotaph on Sunday, November 10th, a very small handful of people seemed to have some negative things to say about the Princess of Wales.

A controversial TV host has come under fire for slamming the mom-of-three’s appearance after completing chemotherapy, which has understandably made a lot of people furious online.

TV Host Criticizes Kate Middleton's Appearance On Remembrance Sunday

Good Morning Britain and Loose Women panelist Narinder Kaur shared some controversial comments on X following the Princess of Wales' appearance on Remembrance Sunday. The post has since been deleted, with outlets such as RadarOnline reporting on the post and its comments before it vanished.

"Genuine question – why has Kate aged so much?" asked Kaur, who also appeared on Big Brother. "Isn't she only 42? Is she a smoker? It's the only explanation," she added, which predictably caused a huge backlash in the comments before it was deleted.

Internet Reactions

"Stop being vile" one person reportedly slammed in the comments, as a second said: "Narinder, just fade away, you have done enough damage. Your career has gone." A third X user said: "The angry comments you're getting are just karma coming back around." "Wow you're a piece of work," added a fourth, as a fifth said her post was "disgusting."

More comments continued on Kaur's follow-up post, which was a video of herself explaining more about the context of her original post, while also giving what most people on social media said was a fake apology. In her video, she said: "Ok. Seems people took this the wrong way. It was a genuine ask. My brother had chemo. He didn't age. He died. Apologies if it was insensitive or just plain wrong. Hands up. I'm sorry."

Perhaps part of the reason why people didn't think Kaur's apology was genuine was because she said the Princess of Wales had "a lot of privilege," and referenced how she didn't have to go to work while undergoing treatment for cancer.

"Learn to give a proper and sincere apology… and leave it at that. You've shown us who you are, so maybe it's best that you go away quietly. Attention seeker," slammed one X user on her follow-up post. "You're not sorry at all – no apology should contain a but," noted a second, as a third said: "What a sad, narcissistic little person."

Another defended the Princess of Wales' appearance and referenced how she and everyone else was sad and emotional on Remembrance Sunday given what the day represented, adding: "This statement? I think Kate looks just fine for her age. We all look older when sad, and she looks sad." "SIMPLY THAT, she looked sad," replied one user in agreement.
