Kate Middleton continues to promote her Shaping Us campaign, in style! The Princess of Wales, 41, visited the University of Leeds last week to speak with students, and rocked a cream-colored, curve-hugging midi sweater dress with a striking emerald coat.

The mom of three stopped by the school’s Childhood Studies program to raise awareness of the importance of early childhood development, as this campaign has been deemed her passion project and “life’s work.”

Princess Kate Bundles Up In Cozy Victoria Beckham Sweater Dress & Alexander McQueen Coat

Princess Kate added pieces from her favorite brands for her latest stylish wintry outing, as her long-sleeved sweater dress with a fitted top and flowy skirt is from Victoria Beckham, and her coat is by Alexander McQueen. To accessorize her get-up, the royal family member added a chic belt to match her frock, and it helped emphasize her tiny waist and trim physique.

The style icon added slouchy, calf-length brown boots under her dress and and dazzled up her ensemble even more with gold dangly earrings and a deep green mini purse in the same hue of her coat. The coat itself featured a cinched, double-breasted cut with a blazer-esque neckline.

Princess Kate wore her long, wavy brunette tresses down for her visit, and parted them to the side for more volume. As for makeup, she highlighted her natural beauty with a dash of rosy blush on her high cheekbones, and added subtle black liner and a glossy pink lip to top it all off.

The Princess Of Wales’ Shaping Up Campaign

In a recent Instagram post (on the account that she shares with husband Prince William), Kate wrote, regarding her campaign’s mission, “The first five years of life shape the rest of our lives.” She further stressed the importance of that time period for children in her campaign announcement letter, writing, “During our very early childhood, our brains develop at an amazing rate—faster than any other time of our lives.

Kate added, “It is a time where we lay the foundations and building blocks for life. It is when we learn to understand ourselves, understand others and understand the world in which we live. But as a society, we currently spend much more of our time and energy on later life. I am absolutely determined that this long-term campaign is going to change that.”

She concluded her letter, “I urge everyone reading this, to take the opportunity to learn more about this incredible time of life, to think back to your own childhood and how it shaped you, and most importantly, to ask yourselves what you can do to make the world a more supportive and loving place for our children.”
