I Usually Can’t Afford Kate Middleton’s Style--But Her Gap Sweater Is Actually So Cheap

Kate Middleton is a style icon in many ways, but I can’t often afford her Alexander McQueen coats or Jenny Packham dresses on my writer’s salary.

Of course, she’s worn her version of a lower-priced item before, but they’re typically only available at some British high street store and not online for shipping to the U.S.

I’ve been covering Kate’s fashion since her wedding to Prince William in 2011, and I have never seen her wear something as affordable and accessible as this one as cheap as this Gap Cable Knit sweater!

The Duchess of Cambridge appeared on the Kensington Royal Instagram page on November 27th to share one of the #5biginsights from the U.K.'s early childhood study wearing the vibrant cozy knit sweater. Not only that--but it's on sale for $35. And somehow, it is still in stock!
