It’s no secret that Kate Middleton, 41, is suffering with the ongoing feud between her husband, Prince William, 41 and brother-in-law Prince Harry, 38. And according to reports, she isn’t just sitting there and not doing anything about it, as a royal author has claimed that she is “working behind the scenes” with King Charles, 74, to try and resolve the situation once and for all!

According to GB News, Our King Charles III: The Man and the Monarch Revealed author Robert Jobson told the Express US that the Princess of Wales is “doing a brilliant job” of trying to heal the rift between the brothers, as well as the rift between Prince Harry and other members of the royal family, including his father, King Charles.

Kate Middleton Is Reportedly The Only Person 'Helping The Situation'

"I'm not sure how much dialogue there is with William and Harry, at the moment, I think the only person that is helping the situation is Catherine, who is doing a brilliant job," Jobson confessed, before going on to say that the Princess of Wales has orchestrated King Charles' visits with his grandchildren on many occasions.

"First of all, when the King wants to see his grandchildren, for example, it's important to say that a lot of it has been through Catherine," he said. "But William and Harry, it's a difficult one. I think as brothers they are more likely to get on the phone and have a conversation."

Royal Author Says There Is A 'Lack Of Trust' Between Prince Harry And The Royals

Having said that, the Princess of Wales hasn’t managed to fully heal the rift between the brothers, and there is still a "lack of trust" between them – especially since Prince Harry spilled so many secrets about the family in his bombshell memoir Spare, which was released in January this year.

Prince William was reportedly very hurt by Prince Harry's accusations in his memoir (according to insiders, of course, as he has maintained the 'never complain, never explain' mantra loved by his grandmother, the late Queen Elizabeth II) and insiders have recently suggested that Prince William and King Charles have grown closer following Prince Harry's attacks.

Jobson said that the memoir caused the brothers' relationship to hit "rock bottom," adding: "It's quite possible that one of them might pick up the phone to have a rant, but who's gonna pick up the phone on the other end? Because that's not gonna achieve anything."

"There's also a lot of lack of trust at the moment between all the members of the family and Harry about where this information is going, because a lot of stuff has appeared in print by him." He went on to say that although he does have high hopes that the royal family "are going to have a period of calm, where they actually can start to build some form of trust," he doesn’t "believe it'll ever come back to what it was before."
