Kate Middleton attended the grand reopening of the National Portrait Gallery, of which she is a patron, on Tuesday, July 4th, looking absolutely breathtaking in a chic white ensemble!

The National Portrait Gallery, which is a Grade I listed building, has undergone an extensive three-year refurbishment, and a lot of things have changed since it was last open to the public. This even included the somewhat controversial removal of certain royal pictures, such as Prince William and Prince Harry‘s portrait by Nicola ‘Nicky’ Philipps which was unveiled in 2010, and Kate’s first official portrait, which was painted by Scotland-born artist Paul Emsley in 2012 and unveiled in 2013.

Kate Middleton Wears White Self-Portrait Ensemble

Perhaps the Princess of Wales carefully chose her outfit for the grand reopening of the National Portrait Gallery because of the designer's name, or perhaps it was a mere coincidence. Either way, she looked absolutely glowing when she made her arrival.

The Princess of Wales wore a stunning two-in-one white Self-Portrait dress featuring an elegant pleated midi skirt and a matching white and black bouclé jacket. The jacket, which is actually part of the same dress, featured black lining around the hems and pockets, as well as sleek black buttons, and was finished off with a white waist-defining belt. So chic!

The mom-of-three carried a small black quilted Chanel clutch bag, and finished off her outfit with some sky-high Aquazurra 'Bow Tie' black slingback heels to complement the black accents of the dress.

Her hair was worn in its signature voluminous bouncy curly blow, which was tucked behind her ears to reveal her trusty faux diamond and pearl earrings by Heavenly London, which she has worn countless times over the past decade.
