Kate Middleton Stuns In Ivory Jenny Packham Gown And The Queen Mother's Tiara

The Princess of Wales, 41, looked breathtaking at the King and Queen's banquet in a floor-length ivory Jenny Packham gown, complete with a mini cape featuring gold and rhinestone embroidery. She accessorized with an ivory bag and matching ivory opera gloves, while her hair was worn in a long half up and half down do. Her makeup consisted of a soft smoky eye, rosy pink cheeks and a pink lip. For jewelry, she opted to wear the late Queen Elizabeth II's diamond drop earrings.

The Duchess of Cambridge also displayed her honors, the Royal Family Order and her Grand Cross of the Royal Victorian Order star and sash across her dress. But as great as she looked with her dress and jewels, it was her dazzling diamond-encrusted flower headpiece that stole the show!

The Princess Of Wales' Tiara Moment

The mom-of-three went through the royal archives for her 15th tiara moment since becoming a royal, as she chose to wear the late Queen Mother's Strathmore Rose tiara, which was last worn in the 1930s. It was reportedly given to the then Lady Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon as a wedding present from her father, the Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne (hence its name!) when she married Prince Albert – aka King George VI, Queen Elizabeth II's father – in 1923. She has been pictured wearing the tiara across her forehead, which was the trend back in the 1920s.

The stunning Strathmore Rose tiara is the fourth tiara that the Princess of Wales has worn since marrying Prince William, with the Cartier Halo tiara being the first one she ever wore at the royal wedding in April 2011. She has also worn the Lotus Flower tiara a few times in the past, including at the 2022 Diplomatic Corps reception. However, her favorite tiara is without a doubt Queen Mary's Lover's Knot tiara – also loved by the late Princess Diana – as she has worn it around ten times since becoming a royal.
