During an interview with ITV, Mila told the correspondent, Chris Ship, "There’s a real-life princess who picked my picture and the Queen knows about everything."
"Everyone in this whole entire world will see my picture," she continued.
Speaking about the photography project, the Queen said, "It was with great pleasure that I had the opportunity to look through a number of the portraits that made the final 100 images for the Hold Still photography project."
She continued, "The Duchess of Cambridge and I were inspired to see how the photographs have captured the resilience of the British people at such a challenging time. Whether that is through celebrating frontline workers, recognizing community spirit or showing the efforts of individuals supporting those in need."
The submitted photos were meant to speak to three main themes: "Helpers and Heroes, Your New Normal, and Acts of Kindness."
After receiving more than 31,000 entries, the duchess thanked everyone for contributing to the project, saying, "I wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who has entered and taken part. And a big thank you to my fellow judges. I hugely appreciate the time and dedication that they have shown towards the project."
Although we already thought of Kate as a real-life princess, she definitely proved it with this photography project--and we know exactly why Mila was so excited!
