Kate Middleton Just Re-Wore An Alexander McQueen Dress From 10 Years Ago—She’s Never Looked Better!

Kate Middleton just recycled one of our favorite dresses when she attended the 2021 Earthshot Prize Awards with husband Prince William at London’s Alexandra Palace on Sunday, October 17th. We may have seen this dress before, but that doesn’t mean we are any less blown away! In fact, can we say that we actually think she looks even better than the first time she wore it?
The Duchess of Cambridge wore a pastel lilac floor length dress by Alexander McQueen on Sunday night’s red carpet – or should we say, green carpet (how fitting!) – which featured a wide boat neck collar and an embellished waist-cinching belt. She accessorized her head-turning gown with some Oscar de la Renta heels and Kiki McDonough earrings, and looked like a true real-life princess.
Pictures really don’t do this dress justice, as we think you really need to see her float so effortlessly along the red carpet to appreciate it in all its glory.
As with all of the Duchess’s outfits, this sartorial choice was a very well-thought-out one, as the dress code asked attendees to “consider the environment when choosing their outfit” which she and her husband definitely did. (FYI, Wills wore a velvet green tuxedo which he previously wore to a charity gala back in 2019, only this time teamed it with a black turtleneck underneath. He looked very dapper, and complemented his wife beautifully.)
