TikTok is a great thing. Not only does it bring up resurfaced videos of the royal family so we can relive every adorable and awkward moment, but it also gives us another chance to appreciate royal fashion.
We are very grateful to a TikTok video which highlights the two times Kate Middleton wore her stunning turquoise Jenny Packham gown. The then Duchess of Cambridge first wore the bespoke dress in 2012 for a reception at the Royal Albert Hall in the lead-up to the Olympic Games in London. She wore the same dress six years later while attending the Tusk Conservation Awards in London. And she predictably slayed both times!
Kate Middleton Recycles Her Turquoise Jenny Packham Gown Six Years Later
Kate Middleton is the queen of outfit recycling! Her stunning Jenny Packham gown featured a waist-cinching belt, delicate lace cap sleeves, and a plunging neckline, which was made more elegant and demure with the addition of the same delicate lace detailing. She styled it with a matching turquoise clutch bag and metallic heeled sandals, and wore her hair in a chic updo to show off the intricate lace pattern at the back of the dress.
The second time round, the mom-of-three changed up the styling and wore her brunette locks in a voluminous curly down do. She kept the rest of her accessories the same, because if it ain't broke…
Fan Comments
Commenting on the TikTok video which highlighted the two occasions the Princess of Wales rocked the dress, one fan said: "And why not, it's a beautiful dress and looks amazing."
"Fabulous, Catherine looks amazing," gushed a second fan, as a third simply said: "Beautiful." No arguments there! "Her taste is so elegant it would be a shame not see her beautiful dresses a couple of times," noted a fourth fan.
