Just a few months after releasing an emotional video to reveal that she had finished her chemotherapy, Kate Middleton has made another comment about her cancer battle.
The comment came at the highly-anticipated ‘Together at Christmas’ carol service hosted by the Princess of Wales on December 6th, during a brief conversation with singer Paloma Faith.

Kate Middleton Talks About Her ‘Unplanned’ Cancer Battle
According to a Channel 5 News video report of the carol service at Westminster Abbey, which was shared on X the following day, the “Only Love Can Hurt Like This” hitmaker asked the Princess of Wales how she was feeling.
“I didn’t know this year was going to be the year that I’ve just had,” the mom-of-three replied, in reference to her cancer battle. The “Lullaby” singer said, “The unplanned,” after which the Princess of Wales agreed and added: “The unplanned, exactly. But I think lots of people this year have had such challenging times.”

The 2024 'Together At Christmas' Carol Service Was Reportedly For Those Who Have Shown 'Empathy' Towards Others This Year
Last month, Kensington Palace revealed that this year's carol service, which will air on Christmas Eve, was all about reflection, so we could all see "how much we need each other, especially in the most difficult times of our lives."
The official announcement suggested that the Princess of Wales wanted the service to "shine a light on individuals from all over the U.K. who have shown love, kindness, and empathy towards others in their communities."
"This year, Her Royal Highness wanted to celebrate the many people supporting those in need — individuals who have inspired, counseled, comforted, and above all else shown that love is the greatest gift we can receive," the statement read. "This theme takes inspiration from the Christmas story which encourages us to consider the experiences of others and the important human need of giving and receiving empathy."
