Kate Middleton Wears An Off-The-Shoulder Alexander McQueen Gown For Her Very First BAFTAs Appearance In 2017
For her very first BAFTAs red carpet on February 12th, 2017, the Princess of Wales rendered fans speechless in a stunning bespoke off-the-shoulder Alexander McQueen gown that was inspired by a similar piece from the Resort 2016 collection.
The black gown came with an elegant green and violet floral print, and featured a fitted bodice and a full skirt with multiple tiers. The then Duchess of Cambridge accessorized with a black Alexander McQueen heart clasp box clutch and chic Prada heels. She also wore a striking dazzling bracelet on her wrist, which was reportedly a wedding gift from the late Prince Philip to the late Queen Elizabeth II. Aww!
The mom-of-three wore her hair in a chic updo to let the dress and her statement diamond and morganite earrings command all of the attention. Her makeup was glowy and glamorous, finished off with rosy pink cheeks, a soft pink lip, and glamorous smoky eyes.
