It’s been quite a long year for Kate Middleton, who revealed early in the year that she had cancer and was undergoing chemotherapy treatments. During her latest engagement, many royal fans thought they saw evidence of the long year in the Princess of Wales’ face, noting that she looks particularly “tired.” This comes after her husband, Prince William, spoke publicly about how “proud” he is of his wife and her journey towards recovery. Some Fans Think Kate Middleton Looked 'Tired' At Latest Event

Each year, Westminster Palace hosts the annual "Together At Christmas" Carol Service, and Kate Middleton and her entire family, including her and William's children, Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6. The family gathered to sing some Christmas carols, and while the Princess did look stunning in a long-sleeve, calf-length wrap dress, body language and behavioral expert Darren Stanton had other observations.

"Kate is confident but she's tired," he remarked, speaking of Kate's demeanor at the caroling service. "Her voice tone was quite low this time, lower than usual in terms of interacting with press and guests." However, he's not raising any alarm bells. "However," he continued, "she's the same as normal in terms of her levels of confidence. She's worked hard to make sure she's up to speed."

Prince William Is 'Proud' Of His Wife's Recovery Journey

Prince William has been dutifully providing updates to royal fans on his wife's health, most recently speaking to Sky News during his trip to South Africa to accept the Earthshot Prize. “She’s doing really well,” William told the outlet, adding that he is "so proud of his wife."

"She’s been amazing this whole year, and I know she’ll be really keen to see tonight be a success."

However, the future king has been under a great deal of stress, aiding both his wife and his father in their cancer battles, fathering his children, and of course going about his royal duties, and he's been candid about his struggles. "Trying to get through everything else and keep everything on track has been really difficult," he said to Sky News. Here's to good health in 2025!
