Kate Middleton shined in a long, orange knit dress during her first solo engagement of 2023! The Princess of Wales, 41, spent time with young children at Foxcubs Nursery in Luton, U.K. to emphasize the importance of early childhood learning and development.
The royal family member and style icon showed off her tiny waist in the long-sleeved, turtleneck item with the help of a thick, chic brown belt and paired her frock with suede boots in the same chocolate shade. She added a trendy long camel coat to keep warm and was all smiles as she was photographed entering the facility and playing with the little ones there.

Foxcubs is a free childcare and early education center for children, and the princess helped children create arts and crafts projects, being photographehd wearing one youngster’s handmade bunny masks, making the others giggle.

Princess Kate’s Early Childhood Focus & “Life’s Work”
Princess Kate has long focused on early childhood development as one of the causes most important to her. In a video uploaded to the Prince and Princess of Wales’s official Instagram account, she said to viewers, “Outstanding early years settings like this play a huge role in positively shaping a child’s development.” She added, “The collaboration between staff and parents is just one of the ways children here are supporting in their first five years.”

This week, Kate launched a new project said to be her “life’s work”— a campaign called Shaping Up— at Bafta’s London HQ, and gave a speech about the topic along with a 90-second Claymation film showing how a child is shaped by early interactions and their environment at a young age.
In her speech, she said, “The campaign is fundamentally about shining a spotlight on the critical importance of early childhood and how it shapes the adults we become. During this time we lay the foundations and building blocks for life. And it is when we learn to understand ourselves, understand others and understand the world in which we live.”
