It’s no secret that Kate Middleton is a timeless style icon, and with Wimbledon season in full swing, we wanted to take a fashionable look down memory lane. Remember Princess Kate’s tiered, white cocktail dress from 2011? We sure do!
In July that year, just months after officially tying the knot with Prince William, Kate joined her husband in the stands to watch Andy Murry play tennis in the Royal Box on Centre Court. She donned an elegant white frock from Temperley London.
Epic Fashion Throwback: Kate Middleton's Simple, Chic White Tiered Dress For Wimbledon 2011
The Duchess of Cambridge's dress featured a flirty, above-the-knee hemline (she usually goes for tea-length or maxi dresses now!) The piece, with its intricate straps and rounded neckline, is called the "Moraiah."
The number was noted by the brand at the time to have a "perennial, classic waist-nipped shape with a sexy, structured bodice, hand-embroidered straps and a tiered skirt."
To complete her 2011 Wimbledon look, the now-Princess of Wales added tan L.K. Bennett Sledge pumps with a platform design and sleek heel. (As fans know, she's worn them and re-worn them for other chic outfits). As for her glam that day, the mom of three wore her caramel-brown tresses down and styled into her signature voluminous, layered blowout.
For her makeup look, Princess Kate highlighted her natural beauty and went for subtle black liner, sky-high lashes, rosy blush and a glossy pink lip.

For her most recent Wimbledon ensemble, Princess Kate donned a mint green Balmain blazer and paired it with a white pleated skirt this week.
She's still just as stylish now as she was 12 years ago (and still a big fan of pleated and romantic pieces!)
