Kate Spade’s Surprise Sale may have just ended, but fret not: another great sale is just around the corner. Their annual Big Sale (sometimes known as the Bigger Sale or summer sale) is coming up later this month–and we have all the details.
What Is It
Kate Spade offers up Surprise Sales to their online customers regularly throughout the year, although they don’t release the dates ahead of time (hence the name).
The Big or Bigger Sale is special because it’s one of the few sales they run during the summer months. The other Surprise Sales are heavy at the beginning and end of the year (February, March, May, as well as September and December), with few in the middle. So if you’re looking for discounted Kate Spade handbags or wallets, this is your best chance to get them for awhile.

This mid-year event features an extra 30-40% off sale items with a code to enter at checkout (in 2018, the code was BIGBIGBIG; in 2017, it was SUNNY).
With the additional code, you end up getting savings of up to 80% off full price. I told you it was amazing!
The sale typically last multiple days and you have to enter your email address to even see the merchandise. Sneaky, sneaky.

Once you’re in, they’ve got hundreds of items in every category—handbags, wallets, shoes, jewelry, clothing and more—available. The prices aren’t reflected until checkout, so you need a calculator handy to see how good of a deal you are getting (ie. wallets suddenly become an affordable under-$50 price point).
If you prefer the latter option and would rather skip the lines, you can redeem the offer using the code SUNNY at checkout to receive a sizeable discount on your merchandise. The offer began on June 20, and will last until June 29, 2017 at 11:59 p.m. PT.
When Is It
In 2018, the Bigger sale lasted for a meaty week and a half: it started on Wednesday, June 20 and ended on Friday, June 29. In 2017, the sale was running on or around the weekend of Friday, June 30.
Based off past years, we can predict that the sale will take place during the last week of the month, starting on or around Friday, June 28, 2019. Mark your calendars!

Return Policy
Kate Spade doesn’t take returns on items purchased at a discount of 50% or more. Since most items in this sale will be discounted up to 80% off, they will (unfortunately) be considered “final sale.”
Is Shipping Free?
One downside to the pop-up sales is that they don’t have no-minimum free shipping like Kate Spade’s regular site. Shipping should only set you back around $5, however, and considering the deep discounts this seems worth it.
