Kathy Bates has been wowing fans with her slimmed-down appearance in the Matlock revival – and she once again showed off her slim frame when she walked the red carpet for the Hollywood Reporter‘s annual Women in Entertainment Gala in Beverly Hills on Wednesday, December 4th.
The Titanic actress wore some chic black trousers and a matching black leather jacket, teamed with a light-colored shirt and a purple tie. She accessorized with some on-trend leather gloves, and added another splash of color to her ensemble by way of a red purse which she wore over her shoulder. She looked amazing!

The 76-year-old Oscar-winning actress's new figure is due to a super-impressive 100 lb. weight loss transformation, which she previously explained took her six to seven years to achieve.
Bates explained that she worked very hard to shed 80 lbs. by changing her diet and exercising, and credited the final 20 lbs. to Ozempic. We love how open she has been!
"It's helped me tremendously that, over the last six or seven years, I've lost 100 pounds. I don't think I've been this slim since I was in college," Bates told Variety.
Kathy Bates Reveals Her Diet And Exercise Routine
The Annie alum has been very open with her fans about the things she has done to shed the weight, and previously told People that she used mindfulness to re-train her body to stop eating once it was full. She also confessed that she stops eating after 8pm, while also revealing that she had to cut out some of the very unhealthy foods she loved in order to slim down.
"I used to eat terribly: burgers and Cokes and pizza," the Misery actress told People, before detailing some of the workouts she likes doing by herself, without the aid of a trainer.
"I have a treadmill here at the house, and I might try Pilates," she told the pub. She added: "People always ask, 'Don't you want a trainer?' No, I really don't. I don't want anybody over my shoulder. It's just very important to me to keep this going. I don't want to slip."
