Katie Holmes just debuted baby bangs during New York Fashion Week, and showed off an edgy and striking new look! The Dawson’s Creek icon, 43, sat front row at the Tom Ford Spring/Summer 2023 show and donned a chic, long-sleeved, floor-length black dress and covered her brunette tresses with a hood. While the Batman Begins star’s hair was fully covered, her new freshly trimmed micro bangs were on full display, looking French-inspired yet Audrey Hepburn-esque, wispy, and cut just a few inches above her eyebrows.

Holmes’ dress featured a fitted, wrap design with waist emphasis at its top and a flowy, long skirt. To accessorize, she added a black clutch purse and silver rings. In order to complete her look, the Logan Lucky actress rocked glowy, radiant makeup (which was further emphasized by her dark clothing). With a subtle smokey eye to highlight her green peepers, a mauve lipstick color and illuminating highlighter along her cheekbones, fans on Twitter and elsewhere began dubbing Holmes’ look to be “gothic glam” and “effortlessly stunning.”

In two Instagram posts for her 2.2 million followers, Holmes shared close-up glimpses at her hair and makeup for the evening. In her first photo, Holmes is seen looking down, flaunting her new ‘do and a gold nose ring along with her glamorous makeup. In her caption, she credited her glam team as fans hyped up her look in her comment section. “Those bangs,” one fan wrote with a fire emoji, adding, “stunning photo.” Another conveyed their thoughts with heart-eye emojis and fellow actress Kate Hudson left a black heart emoji under the photo as well.

For Holmes’ next post, she gave fans another look at her fringe and makeup, this time looking straight at the camera and also giving credit to her team in the caption. Fans still could not get enough of her “bold new look,” with one writing, “Classy and sexy!” Others noted that they were “surprised” by her new bangs and all-black ensemble but still “loved everything about it.” (Us, too, especially with gloomy autumn days and spooky season just around the corner!
