Katie Holmes and her new boyfriend Bobby Wooten III just made their red carpet debut, and they looked absolutely adorable together! The Dawson’s Creek alum and her musician beau attended The Moth’s 25th Anniversary Gala in New York City last Thursday.
Holmes, 43, donned a stunning orange pleated dress and black kitten heels with a matching black purse. A simple ponytail allowed her to show off her gold earrings—too gorgeous! Beside her, Wooten, who is ten years her junior at 33 years old, was looking dapper as ever in a dark blue-green suit and black button-down. The Grammy nominee pulled this look together with some classic black boots and silver rings.
Wooten presented musician David Byrne with the Storyteller of the Year Award. He told Us Weekly he was “so excited” about the honor. “[David] has impacted my life like crazy so it’s quite easy to speak on everything he’s done for me.” The Moulin Rouge! The Musical star also had great things to say about his girlfriend. “I’m happy to have [Katie] here as my date,” he said. The two made a perfect pair; one source even noted that the duo was “acting like they’ve been dating a long time” at the gala. So cute!
Holmes and Wooten first sparked relationship rumors last April, when they were spotted sharing a kiss before a date at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, Us Weekly wrote.
According information a source gave to E! News, these two met through friends. This insider, who is close to Holmes, told the outlet that the Coda star is “excited about seeing someone and is very happy,” adding that she “enjoys having someone in her life and he is very kind and good to her.” We love to hear it!
Another source revealed to Entertainment Tonight that although the two are “busy with their own things,” they “cherish the time they get together” and are “really into each other.” We’re certainly crossing our fingers that we get to see more of this blossoming romance in the future.
