Katy Perry wrapped up her American Idol journey with a bang! At the show’s wrap party last week, she stunned in one of her most intricate two-piece outfits, sparkling in the night as she left the scene with her partner, Orlando Bloom.

The “Wide Awake” singer shined in a bedazzled beige strapless corset paired with a matching draped skirt featuring a thigh-high slit. She paired the outfit with gold strappy heels. Her jet-black hair was styled in a center part and cascaded in loose curls, while her glam featured a pink lipstick.

Meanwhile, the Pirates of the Caribbean star sported a black and white varsity jacket, a classic white T-shirt, and dark jeans. The 47-year-old walked hand in hand with his fiancé to support her during the emotional night as she bid farewell to the show.

With Katy's departure from the program, fans are buzzing about who will take her place. The mother of one recently sat down with ET to discuss her experience on the show and her hopes for her successor.

"I’m a little tired because I’ve been crying all night, but [I’m] just so proud, so happy. It feels like a cherry on top that Abi got to win just because it’s been a while since you, a while since a female won," said the "Teenage Dream" icon.

Perry is leaving the program after seven years in order to concentrate on making new music, which her fans have been pleading for her to release.

"Well, everybody's sad. I'm like, it's not like I'm dying! I'm just going to see you on tour," she said. "Keep that seat hot. I mean, who knows. I loved everything I got to experience and learn."

As for who she wishes would take her seat, she revealed, "I hope it's someone fearless. I hope it's someone that doesn't mince their words, maybe someone a little polarizing just like myself. There's a lot of people that's like, 'She's awful! She should go!' And there's a lot of people that are like, 'She speaks her mind! She's authentic!' Whatever, you can't win 'em all. I think it's actually better not to win 'em all because that means you actually have a point of view."
