Earlier this week, Katy Perry shared with her Instagram followers a sneak peak at her American Idol outfit for the evening: an off-the-shoulder pink dress with a high square neckline and an asymmetrical high-slit skirt.
The dress highlighted the 29-year-old's toned, thin waist and put her long legs on display as well, with a daringly high slit on the right side. With it, Perry wore over-the-knee slouchy patent leather black boots, and wore her dark har in a slicked back bun.
For glam, the star went with a matte pink lip, dramatic eyeshadow, and blushed cheeks. Her nails were painted a baby pink to match the gown, and a pair of simple pearl earrings finished off the look. Katy captioned her photo with a collection of pink emojis, letting all 206M of her fans know that her Barbie era isn't over.
