Katy Perry has wowed fans with one jaw-dropping outfit after another while on American Idol this year – but she can also do understated, off-duty glam too!
The mom-of-one was papped running some errands with three-year-old daughter Daisy Dove Bloom, who she shares with 47-year-old fiancé Orlando Bloom, on Sunday, June 2nd. And although she wasn’t wearing her usual head-turning ensembles, she still managed to look effortlessly stylish in her cozy tracksuit. Check out some pictures of the outing here.
Katy Perry’s Off-Duty Style
In some of the pap pictures, the 39-year-old “Harleys in Hawaii” singer could be seen running errands in Montecito, California. She was rocking a simple and stylish grey cashmere turtleneck tracksuit, which she teamed with white sneakers and a baseball cap.
The “Roar” singer appeared to be wearing little to no makeup, showing off her glowing, natural complexion. Her unmistakable shiny jet-black locks were worn in a straight down do underneath the baseball cap, although she was also pictured wearing her hair in a loose low bun in other pap pictures.
For her part, Daisy Dove looked adorable in a Minnie Mouse dress, layered over some light-colored pants and a white long-sleeved top. She was also wearing some yellow boots, which is excellent attention to detail to match Minnie Mouse’s iconic yellow footwear. We predict she’s going to be a style icon just like her mom!
Katy Perry Wears Stunning Bedazzled Ensemble To Say Goodbye To 'American Idol'
The "Wide Awake" singer's off-duty outfit was a stark contrast to the sizzling two-piece ensemble she wore to the American Idol wrap party at the end of last month. As you can see in the picture above, the "Firework" hitmaker wore a striking bedazzled strapless corset and matching draped skirt, complete with a daring thigh-high slit, which ensured that she left the show with one almighty bang.
The "California Gurls" singer will not be returning to the judging panel next season, and there have been endless questions about who her replacement will be. She hasn't given anything away yet, but told Entertainment Tonight: "I hope it's someone fearless. I hope it's someone that doesn't mince their words, maybe someone a little polarizing just like myself."
She added: "There's a lot of people that's like, 'She's awful! She should go!' And there's a lot of people that are like, 'She speaks her mind! She's authentic!' Whatever, you can't win 'em all. I think it's actually better not to win 'em all because that means you actually have a point of view."
