Katy Perry Just Made A Major Announcement About Her Vegas Show—We Can’t Believe This!

If your summer plans were holding you back from seeing Katy Perry perform at her Las Vegas residency this summer, we’ve got good news: she just announced new dates for the fall!

The “Katy Perry: PLAY” residency at Resorts World in Las Vegas has been  going strong since December of 2021, and it’s been a hit with fans since its debut. The show is so popular, in fact, that the “Waking Up In Vegas” singer has extended her performances through October.

The newly scheduled shows will take place on October 5, 7, 8, 14, 15, 19, 21, and 22. This is such great news for fans who may have to miss dates this summer as Perry hits the stage for several days across June, July, and August.

The ever-gorgeous “Last Friday Night” singer has clearly been welcomed to Las Vegas with open arms. Tomorrow, on Wednesday June 8, she will even receive a key to the strip by the Clark County Commission. The event will take place at Resorts World, the same venue at which all of her residency shows are performed.

The “American Idol” judge recently gave a glimpse into how she and her team created the music featured in the PLAY residency on Instagram. “The most important part of PERRY PLAYLAND is the music!” she wrote in the caption. “We wouldn’t be able to PLAY without my incredible band and music director @krispooley.”

The star went on to urger her followers to snag their October tickets while they can, noting that it’s the “last run of the year.” Looking to grab some tickets of your own? They went on sale yesterday, June 6 at 10 AM PDT, so act fast! Fans can buy them from the Resorts World or AXS website.
