Katy Perry illuminated the stage with her glimmering ensemble at the Yellow Pieces Gala, held at Paris La Défense Arena in France, last week. The former American Idol judge, 40, wore a stunning metallic silver off-the-shoulder dress made entirely of form-fitting silver belts. Perry wowed the audience with her powerful vocals, performing some of her most beloved songs like “E.T.” and “Dark Horse.”

Backstage, the “Teenage Dream” hitmaker and style icon posed with Korean pop star and Blackpink member Rosé, who looked stylish in a loose black muscle tee over a white, flowing top and thigh-skimming shorts. After fans shared videos of the two artists together, Instagram and TikTok were flooded with praise for Perry’s daring fashion choice and captivating performance.

To complete her look for the event, the mom of one (who shares daughter Daisy, 4, with her partner Orlando Bloom) wore her signature long raven tresses down, parted in the center and styled into loose waves.

As for her makeup look, Perry opted for smokey eyeshadow, winged liner, voluminous lashes, rosy blush and a glossy pink pout.

After seeing Perry’s bold outfit, one fan on Instagram wrote: “only katy can pull off that belt dress” as another deemed her to be a “queen” supporting another “queen” (referring to Rosé, 27).

An additional user added: “My 2 gorgeous queens, KATY & ROSÉ.” On TikTok, someone else commented: “My 2 gorgeous queens, KATY & ROSÉ” as one other gushed: “Katy is SO CUTE.”

At the charity event, Perry was a major performer (as seen in fan-shot footage above). The “Woman’s World” singer shared the stage with Rosé, John Legend, Gims, Burna Boy, Aya Nakamura, BTS‘s J Hope, and BIG BANG‘s G-Dragon and Taeyang.

The evening was arranged by the Foundation des Hopitaux and hosted by France’s First Lady, Brigitte Macron. Her Opération Pièces Jaunes initiative aims to collect donations to help children and young people in hospitals.
