Katy Perry stepped out in a skimpy outfit for Charli XCX and Troye Sivan’s Sweat Tour show on October 16th at Inglewood, CA, but caught some heat from fans because of her ensemble!

For the fun night out, the “Women’s World” singer sported a skintight white t-shirt that was tucked inside studded micro-mini shorts. Her shorts allowed her to wear thigh-high leather boots that flaunted her long legs. A black jacket and a matching purse completed her biker-chic outfit.

Her glam was a bit more colorful, with a mauve lip and pink cheeks adding pops of color.

When photos from the evening were published on social media, fans couldn't help but compare her fashion choice to Megan Fox's signature style.

"I feel like she tryna be Megan Fox," said one fan, prompting another user to defend Perry and note, "Megan and Katy are close in age."

"Mid-life crisis much??" asked someone else.

Some people were more harsh, as they wrote, "Isn't she like 50? grow up." This got another fan to respond, "It's her life; she's got the right to wear whatever she wants."

Megan Fox is known for her signature look, often sporting tiny shorts paired with boots and biker jackets. However, fans pointed out that this style isn’t anything new and that the mother of one also pulls it off perfectly.

Katy Perry Tries To Find Her Way Back To American Idol After New Album Flops

The Teenage Dream hitmaker has faced a tough year following the disappointing release of her album, 143. She first received backlash by collaborating with controversial producer Dr. Luke and later faced criticism from fans who felt her songs didn’t resonate with them.

Now, insiders are saying the artist is "scrambling" to try to get back to her American Idol judge gig to stay relevant.

A source told Life & Style, "American Idol was a safe, steady gig for Katy. Now that her album has flopped, she’s scrambling to reclaim her spot at the judges’ table."

The insider added, "It’s a clear sign even she knows her days as a chart-topping artist are behind her. But Carrie’s got the gig now—and unless the new season is a ratings disaster, there’s no way Katy is getting back in that chair!"

Katy was a judge on the hit music show for seven years, with her last day being May 19, 2024.
