The couple originally planned on having their wedding in December 2019 before rescheduling it for early 2020. At the time, a source explained to Us Weekly that the delay was "due to the location they want," and nothing to do with cold feet. The source added that they are still "beyond in love."
However, as coronavirus spread, their new wedding date was no longer an option, so the couple postponed their nuptials again.
Although some fans hoped that the couple had already begun the planning for their ceremony, any wedding preparation has taken a backseat now that they are adjusting to their new roles as parents of Daisy.
A source told Us, "Their beautiful daughter arrived and she is their sole focus. Planning for any wedding has been put on hold. It will happen, but it’s just not something they are focused on as a couple currently."
With that in mind, it does not look like the couple will be getting married in 2020.
The source continued, "Katy and Orlando’s wedding will not be taking place in 2020. It just wasn’t meant to be."
Perry previously spoke about their wedding plans being derailed during an interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe for her new album Smile.
She spoke about her relationship with Bloom: "For us it’s about partnership and it’s about right now taking it one week at a time. We had a whole thing planned and that got canceled. So we’re just looking forward to a healthy arrival at this point in time. It’s funny. It’s like, 'Don’t make too many plans this year because it’s a real go with the flow time.'"
