Katy Perry never fails to turn heads with her fashion choices on American Idol, and the judge proved this once again with her latest Roberto Cavalli look for an episode of the musical competition show.
The “Dark Horse” singer stunned in a Fausto Puglisi-designed patchwork denim dress that featured stonewashed detailing, asymmetrical straps, a sultry corseted bodice and a high slit that showed off her long, toned legs. Her eye-catching ensemble gave major Y2K vibes with its fraying seams, and was complete with sky-high, black platform heels.

To accessorize her standout get-up, the Grammy winner went for a matching denim choker piece, sparkly dangly earrings and shiny rings. She wore her signature black wavy tresses down and parted in the center.
As for her makeup and glam, the "Roar" hitmaker opted for a classic blended smokey eye look with voluminous lashes. Perry added rosy blush to her high cheekbones and topped it all off with a glossy fuchsia lip color. She owned the red carpet, glowing and beaming as she made her way down and smiled for the photographers.
Her full-length, unique gown also featured a waist-emphasizing fit that helped flaunt her ample curves, and her platform footwear choice highlighted this as well. The "Teenage Dream" crooner's black block-heeled pumps had woven black leather uppers with a closed toe design.
Perry posed beside fellow judges Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie after filming the episode for last week, and stood out once again thanks to another daring, edgy and retro-inspired get-up that only she could pull off!
